Just when Glenn Beck is getting bored, just when Rush Limbaugh has checked out of the hospital, Obama throws them a bone. Meet Amanda Simpson, President Obama's (first?) federal transgendered appointee.
On being tapped for Senior Technical Advisor to the Commerce Department, Ms. Simpson said,"as one of the first transgender presidential appointees to the federal government, I hope that I will soon be one of hundreds, and that this appointment opens future opportunities for many others."I hope, for her sake, Beck's on vacation this week.
Ah well. At least it takes the spotlight off of Southers.
